Technology is an indispensable tool in the delivery of health science education. Educators and students in the School of Health Related Professions are staying ahead of the curve as part of a rapidly changing landscape.

#2024UMMCGrad: ER doc masters population health

Dr. Utsav Nandi, an ER physician at UMMC, will earn a master’s from the Bower School of Population Health in May, his second post-residency degree in eight years.

Dr. Utsav Nandi, an emergency department physician, earned a master's degree from the School of Population Health to better serve his patients.

Take precautions against measles

Cases of measles are on the rise throughout the U.S., prompting an alert from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention calling for physicians to keep patients with suspected cases separate from other patients, test for the virus and report any suspected cases to the CDC and state health departments.

UMMC faculty, staff garner national recognition
