A first-year collaboration with Mississippi State University paired biomedical engineering students with Medical Center mentors to design a model that identifies when a chest tube can be removed after a lung collapse. The long-range goal of the program is to drive development of more state-based jobs and industry related to medical/biomedical innovation. |
