Celebrating a sixth record-breaking year in philanthropy, Sanderson Farms Championship host Century Club Charities presented a $1.3 million donation to Friends of Children’s Hospital during a news conference today. Friends, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting Children’s of Mississippi, has pledged $20 million toward UMMC’s seven-story pediatric expansion and is past the halfway point in reaching that goal, said board chair Melanie Morgan. |
