| Dr. Jim Rayner knows the value of summer employment, especially since it helped put him through medical school in the 1960s. By establishing a scholarship, the SOM alumnus and his wife, Mary Sharp Rayner, will reward similarly hard-working medical school candidates, including those who might otherwise struggle to pay for their education. |

| The upcoming launch of UMMC's newly revised website, scheduled to debut in early July, will impact the eCV schedule. There will be no Monday, July 3 edition of eCV. The content management system of the current website is being replaced, which will prevent eCV from being delivered next week. All changes to the current website will be suspended starting today (Monday, June 26). The new website will combine the umc.edu site with the patient-focused ummchealth.com site in a fresh, modern look designed for easier navigation. The eCV newsletter will resume regular publication on Monday, July 10. |
