Robert Tickner of Madison, a Children’s of Mississippi neurology patient, combined a desire to help others with his woodworking skills to create sets of model MRI machines for use in therapeutic play, reducing the need for sedation in young patients getting diagnostic readings. He hopes the project will help him become an Eagle Scout in 2018.
