Accreditation

The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, the master's degree program in nursing, the Doctor of Nursing Practice program and the post-graduate APRN certificate program in nursing at the University of Mississippi Medical Center is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).

At the most recent accreditation review in March 2022, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing,  Master of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice program, and post-graduate APRN certificate program were awarded the maximum 10-year accreditation period.

School of Nursing programs are also in full compliance with the standards for approval by the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning.

The University of Mississippi is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award degrees at the baccalaureate, master's and doctoral levels.
