Why did you choose UMMC?: Everyone was so genuine. I felt like I still got a good idea of what it would be like to work with the people I met even though our interviews were virtual (hint: best coworkers ever!!). The program itself has everything you could want out of a pediatric residency. Since I am interested in some form of hospital based pediatrics, it was very important to me that my program had all of the subspecialties as well as fellowship opportunities. UMMC has the only children's hospital in the state of Mississippi which guarantees diagnosis diversity as well as patient population diversity! In summary, it's a super cool place with incredible people.

Career Interest
Currently thinking NICU, or maybe PICU, or maybe Hospitalist? Definitely something in a hospital setting

What makes you unique?
I won a 5 lb bar of chocolate by selling a bunch of magazines for a high school magazine drive. As a chocolate enthusiast, this is one of my proudest accomplishments

What you like to do in free time?
Cheering on the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints, spending time with my family and friends, accidentally watching entire seasons of Netflix shows in like 2 days, painting, trying all the happy hours/food around town, having picnics, reading, cooking/baking
