Why did you choose UMMC?: During the dinner and interview everyone was very welcoming, but specifically during the dinner I felt at home as if I was socializing with friends and family. Also, as the only children’s hospital in the state, I knew my clinical experiences would be unique and diverse. Likewise, I would have the opportunity to learn from and help underserved children and their families.

Career Interest
Combine my medical training with my public health background to help improve the health of children and families in the community. I am also interested in gastroenterology, cardiology, and neurology.

What makes you unique?
I am a first-generation college graduate and first physician in my family.

What you like to do in free time?
Spending time with my family, running half-marathons, and cooking.
