Years of audits, training for health care providers and education for parents have resulted in the Medical Center becoming the first in the Jackson metro area to be redesignated as a Baby-Friendly Hospital as part of a global program sponsored by the World Health Organization and the United Nations Children’s Fund.

Brittany Mack is a longtime registered nurse, but she’s using those skills to transition into a new passion: heading up the Medical Center’s Volunteer Services.
