Junior Girl Scout Troop 3965 of Florence sewed baby quilts for babies in neonatal intensive care at Children's of Mississippi as its Bronze Award project. Other quilters from across the country joined in, boosting the Girl Scouts’ quilt donation to 93. The project was inspired by a Girl Scout's little brother who spent 73 days in the Sanderson Tower NICU. |
