Last week, more than 130 students in the School of Medicine discovered where they will spend the next several years as physicians. On Friday, scores of these students mounted the stage of Thalia Mara Hall in Jackson to announce to their peers where they will train in their specialties as residents, in locations from Boston to Gainesville, and from Chapel Hill to Portland. Nearly half of those students – 60 in all – matched right here at the Medical Center. |
