| When Dr. Dave Vearrier and his wife, Dr. Laura Vearrier, joined the Medical Center's Department of Emergency Medicine in 2019, they were attracted by its sense of purpose in taking care of Mississippians. They also brought many gifts of their own: Dave became toxicologist for the UMMC Poison Control Center, while Laura is a certified health care ethics consultant. |
