Located minutes from UMMC's main campus, the homelike setting of the new children's skilled nursing facility will be a comfortable living space for Children’s of Mississippi patients with medically complex conditions. It will also serve as a place where families of patients can get the training they need to provide care at home.

Every day, UMMC employees strive to provide support for patients who need help with the extras: pajamas, toiletries, medications for transplant patients and more. Mississippians can join those efforts with donations of supplies and money and with the gift of their time as trained volunteers.

Just when you thought Christmas sweaters couldn’t get any tackier, UMMC employees tested that theory. The result: A plethora of perfectly appalling sweaters decked the halls of UMMC's hospitals and clinics this week. As to which floor, department or team sported the most overtly odious outerwear . . . Santa Claus will be the judge.
