UMMC resident Dr. Ashley Albert has helped create a national group focused on increasing female involvement in radiation oncology and has helped organize a social media campaign to help spread the group's message.

Dr. David Felton, School of Dentistry dean, received two prestigious honors earlier this month. He was awarded the Dan Gordon Lifetime Achievement Award by the American College of Prosthodontists, and he was elected president of the American Board of Prosthodontics.

More than 1,300 Mississippians await life-saving organ transplants. In most cases, a donor's death must occur before an organ can be received. Those generous donors and their families are recognized each fall during the Wall of Heroes ceremony at the Medical Center.

Several interesting events are scheduled for the upcoming weeks at the Medical Center.
