Suffering from congestive heart failure and on the brink of death, Tim Lewis received a heart transplant in January 2014. He resolved to "pay it forward" in tribute to his donor and the donor's family. Lewis is a faithful volunteer in the Medical Center’s Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, sharing his story with patients and encouraging them not to give up. |
