UMMC has joined SouthSeq, a study that will use whole genome sequencing to find genetic differences that may affect the health of neonatal intensive care unit patients. Spread across three states, the project also hopes to increase access to genetic medicine and technologies in underserved communities. UMMC plans to recruit 500 participants over the next four years. |

In town for the tournament’s media day, Armour spent an afternoon putting with patients. Sanderson Farms Championship host Century Club Charities donated $1.2 million from the 2017 tournament to Friends of Children’s Hospital. |
