DESCRIPTION:UMMC Discovery Day will take place from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, in the Norman C. Nelson Student Union. This single-site, rotation-based event showcases several academic schools, programs, centers and departments on the Jackson campus. It is designed to introduce high school students (grades 10-12) and undergraduate students to health care and research careers, as well as the educational programs that prepare them for those careers.Campus groups interested in hosting an exhibit table at UMMC Discovery Day can request more information by emailing the UMMC Student Recruitment Committee at AcademicRecruitment@umc.edu.
