Roland J. Thorpe Jr., PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Health, Behavior and Society (HBS), Project Director, Research Education and Training Director; Director of the Program on Research for Men's Health in the Hopkins Center for Health Disparities Solutions, and a Faculty Associate in the Johns Hopkins Center to Reduce Cancer Disparities (JHCRCD) at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Before joining the faculty, Dr. Thorpe was an Institutional Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology and the Center on Aging and Health at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
