Volunteer Services

University of Mississippi Medical Center volunteers play an important role in helping to provide quality, compassionate care to patients. We are always looking for people who want to help in this mission. Volunteers support UMMC's mission to improve the health of our community.

Whether you are offering a friendly chat and a warm smile to patients or assisting behind the scenes with administrative or technical services in an office or laboratory, you are helping to make every patient's stay more comfortable. We will provide the training and support necessary for your success in all of the volunteer positions.
