Biography
Veena Shenoy, MD; is a board certified anatomic and clinical pathologist at University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC). She graduated from Kasturba Medical College Mangalore, India in 1982. She completed her residency in pathology at University of Cincinnati and Marshall University, followed by a fellowship in Cytopathology at University of Cincinnati.Dr. Shenoy joined the department of pathology at UMMC in 2012. She served as surgical pathology, quality/safety and outreach director from 2013 to 2015. She is also involved in resident and medical student education and became the residency program director in November 2018.
Her interests are surgical pathology with special emphasis in gynecologic pathology.She is committed in providing superior diagnostic pathology services and resident education.
