Description:
The Medical Center’s eighth annual Holiday Village Competition is open to any hospital department. Competing teams are asked to create an all-edible structure – use of gingerbread is actually optional – for display in the University Hospital lower lobby. The goal is to create an exhibit that brings joy to patients, visitors and staff during the holidays.
- Teams must register by 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 to compete.
- Entries must be delivered to the University Hospital lobby by 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11.
- A panel of UMMC volunteers will judge them at 11 a.m. Dec. 12 and select winners.
Houses that aren’t totally edible will go home with no prize, and using electrical or battery operated props will get you switches and ashes.
