Biography: Dr. Orr earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Delta State University prior to graduating from The University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine. He proceeded to do his General Surgery Residency at University of Tennessee Health Science Center followed by a Research Fellowship at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and a Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Since joining the UMMC faculty in 2015, his partnership with prominent domestic / international peers has earned him the reputation as a clinical innovator and leading voice within the surgical oncology community.
