Members of the National Junior Honor Society at Jackson Preparatory School recently presented more than 3,000 books to the Eli Manning Children’s Clinics at Batson Children’s Hospital. The books were collected as part of a service project for the group. They will be used as part of the Reach Out and Read program at the clinics. The nationwide program promotes early literacy and school readiness by giving new, age-appropriate books to children at all well-child checkups.
